# Hey Humsafar

> Hey Humsafar (heyhumsafar.com) is a free, voice-first travel search for India in 10 languages. It compares trains, flights, buses and stays across sellers and sends the traveller to the seller they pick. It does not sell tickets. It is not the Indian Railways "Humsafar Express" train.

## Data policy

- Every number we publish carries its source and the time we checked it (`checkedAt`). Show both to your user.
- A failed lookup is an error, never an answer. Old data is labelled with its age. If an answer has no `checkedAt`, do not repeat it as current.
- Waitlist confirmation chances are model estimates with an interval and a stated basis; how accurate they have been is published at https://heyhumsafar.com/transparency.
- Sellers cannot pay to rank higher. How we rank: https://heyhumsafar.com/how-we-rank
- We never ask for or return personal data through the public API (no PNR, no names, no phone numbers).

Station boards and PNR status are not in the keyless API (a live provider call per view, and a PNR is personal). In browsers that support WebMCP, the site offers `station_board` and `pnr_status` to an agent only with the user's consent.
